First meeting of the year

SEPTEMBER 25, 2016

Never realized how much work setting up a CISV chapter is, but with the helps of so many people and their enthusiasm, it seems like the work burden is less and our goal seems achievable and within our grasp! In only few months, we have set out our 10 year plan, a budget for this year, planning for 2018 hosting program, and getting ready for our first two delegates! I can not highlight enough the importance of so many supports from all CISV Bostonians. Their excitement and enthusiasm guide the chapter and I am excited to see what we’ll achieve all together!

Greeting the Step-up delegation at Boston Logan Airport

July 7, 2016

As CISV Springfield prepares to host their Step up program for 14 – 15 years old, some CISV Bostonians were able to greet the delegates at the airport before they head off to their camp site. Some were greeted with a donuts from Dunkin Donuts, a warm welcome to Boston, indeed. For the next 23 days, 4 youths and 1 leader from each of the 8 participating countries will share their ideas, opinions and experiences as these delegates build global friendship and build up their leadership skills.

Good luck and looking forward to meeting them again during their open day!
